Sometimes specified where a full, walk-on balcony isn’t practical for design or budgetary reasons, Juliet balconies offers an effective way to create an open, outdoor feel to an indoor space on upper floors of a building. Suitable for a variety of homes, a Juliet balcony is essentially a balustrade fitted to the exterior of an indoor opening large window or French door.

The VELFAC In System consists of inward opening windows and tilt and turn casement doors in wood/aluminium. Designed for multi-storey buildings, where they offer effective ventilation with a specially designed tilt function, VELFAC in windows and doors are the perfect choice for juliet balcony doors.
If you have a Juliet balcony then the inward opening Tilt & Turn door is the perfect choice. This design provides ventilation when tilted and easy access to a roof terrace for instance, when turned using the side hinges.
The turn and tilt juliet balcony doors can be supplied as single or double inward opening french doors, and are designed for use where space is limited. The sash is operated by a single handle which incorporates two functions: inward opening to 90˚, for safe cleaning; inward tilting, from the threshold, to create an overhead ventilation gap. The threshold is supplied as mahogany for additional durability.
