VELFAC Ribo includes windows, patio doors, sliding doors and front doors in a traditional framed design. The range combines a high-quality finish, strong thermal performance and dependable security features. It is well suited to both new-build homes and replacement window projects, especially where you want to retain a more traditional appearance. VELFAC Ribo also makes it easier to replace selected windows without compromising the overall look of the property.

Tilt and turn window - Flexible ventilation • Easy cleaning

The tilt and turn window offers two opening functions in one. Tilt the window inwards at the top for controlled everyday ventilation, or open it fully inwards when you want greater airflow or easier access for cleaning.

This makes it particularly useful for bedrooms, upper floors and other locations where cleaning the outside of the glass from indoors is an advantage.

Side-hung window - Inward opening • Full access

The side-hung window opens fully inwards from the side, providing excellent ventilation and easy access to both sides of the glass.

Its inward opening design makes it particularly suitable for upper floors and locations where an outward opening window would be difficult to access.

Fixed window - Maximum daylight • Minimal maintenance

Fixed VELFAC In windows do not open and are ideal where ventilation is not required but daylight and views are important.

They can be combined with opening VELFAC In windows within the same element, giving you flexibility to create larger glazed arrangements.

Bottom-hung window - Controlled ventilation • Simple operation

The bottom-hung window tilts inwards from the top, providing controlled ventilation while keeping the opening contained within the room.

It is a useful option where regular ventilation is required without fully opening the window.

VELFAC In aluminium frames are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing you to coordinate your windows with the exterior of your home and other VELFAC products.

Materials

Durable aluminium outside. Warm timber inside.

VELFAC In combines the durability and low maintenance of external aluminium with the warmth and natural appearance of timber internally.

The aluminium exterior is designed to withstand changing weather conditions with minimal maintenance, while the internal pine frame brings the character of natural timber into your home.

Aluminium exterior for long-lasting performance

The external aluminium profiles are polyester powder coated to provide a durable finish that requires very little ongoing maintenance.

There is no need for external repainting, with routine maintenance generally limited to cleaning and occasional lubrication of moving parts.

Timber interior

VELFAC In uses pine for its internal frames, mullions and transoms, creating a warm natural finish inside the home.

A range of internal finishes is available, allowing the timber to complement your interior design.

 

 

Triple glazing

VELFAC In windows are manufactured with 48mm triple glazing, helping reduce heat loss and create a comfortable indoor environment.

Timber exterior for a more traditional appearance

The frames and mullions are made from FSC-certified® pine sourced from northern European forests. The timber is laminated and finger-jointed to improve stability and make efficient use of the raw material. At least 60% heartwood is used on fully or partially exposed external surfaces.

Benefits of triple glazing

  • mproved thermal insulation to help reduce heat loss

  • A more comfortable indoor environment with fewer cold spots near the window

  • Reduced draughts

  • Lower risk of overheating in summer when specified appropriately

 

Double glazing

Double glazing is also available, making it suitable for applications such as holiday homes, garages, sheds and other unheated spaces.

 

Insulating cavities

Standard glazing units contain cavities between the panes filled with argon gas. Argon is a naturally occurring, inert gas that improves thermal insulation and helps reduce heat loss through the window.
