Product Description
The VELFAC Ribo series consists of windows, patio and sliding doors as well as front doors in traditional frame/frame construction. The series is characterized by a nice finish, good insulation and safety package. The design is well suited for new construction and for window replacements in detached houses. With VELFAC Ribo, the detached house can retain its original expression, just as it is possible to replace only a few windows in the detached house without compromising the overall impression.
VELFAC Ribo is available in many opening variants. Choose the ones that suit your need. See more about open functions here.
Top guided windows provide particularly good ventilation, as fresh air is able to enter from both above and below. Also they are very easy to operate.
Sidehung windows, also called casement windows, are a type of window that opens outwards on hinges attached to the side of the window frame. They are a popular choice for houses as they provide good ventilation and the best “clear opening” area for the size of the frame.
Fixed windows, also known as picture windows, are windows that cannot be opened or closed. They are designed to provide unobstructed views and allow natural light to enter a room.
The colors of your windows make a difference. And there is plenty to choose from. VELFAC windows are available in a multitude of RAL colours, and you can also get granite and anodised colours. See more about color choices here.
VELFAC windows, patio doors and sliding doors are made of durable materials that require a minimum of maintenance. We are careful in the selection of suppliers and in the requirements we place on the materials. These are all the cornerstones of a quality product.
Aluminium exterior for long durability
The exterior of the aluminium window is virtually maintenance-free in its lifetime and is well suited to the Danish climate with a lot of rain and wind.
When you choose windows and doors with aluminium on the outside, you do not have to paint the windows and your maintenance therefore only consists of keeping them clean and lubricating them a few times a year.
Highly insulating 3-layer glazing in energy class A
Our windows with 3-layer glazing are A-labelled low-energy windows, which provide a pleasant, bright indoor environment and as neutral a reproduction of colours of the surrounding nature as is technically possible.
The advantages of 3-layer glazing:
2-layer glazing
The series is also available in 2-layer glazing, which is B-marked and thus approved for holiday homes, holiday homes or unheated rooms such as garages or sheds.
Insulating cavities
In a standard pane, cavities are created between the glass slices. In the cavities, there is the natural and harmless noble gas argon, which makes the pane highly insulating and helps to reduce the window's heat loss. Argon is extracted from the atmosphere and is the most common noble gas in nature.
FSC-certified® wood
Wood exterior for authenticity
For frames and posts, we use FSC-certified® pine from northern European forests.
The wood is laminated with finger-jointed items. In this way, a dimensionally stable product is obtained, where as much of the raw wood as possible is utilized. A minimum of 60% heartwood has been used for fully or partially exposed exterior surfaces.
