Product Description
VELFAC In is an aluminium/timber window system designed specifically for inward opening applications.
It combines a durable aluminium exterior with a warm timber interior and is manufactured with triple glazing. The 93mm frame provides a slim, contemporary appearance while offering the additional functionality of inward opening and tilt ventilation.
VELFAC In is particularly suited to upper floors, French balconies, basement windows and other areas where cleaning or opening a window outwards may be difficult.
The system is designed to be specified alongside VELFAC 200, allowing you to combine outward and inward opening windows across the same project while retaining a coordinated contemporary appearance.
VELFAC In includes fixed and inward opening window options. Choose the function that best suits the room, the level of ventilation required and how you need to access the window.
See more about open functions here.
The tilt and turn window offers two opening functions in one. Tilt the window inwards at the top for controlled everyday ventilation, or open it fully inwards when you want greater airflow or easier access for cleaning.
This makes it particularly useful for bedrooms, upper floors and other locations where cleaning the outside of the glass from indoors is an advantage.
The side-hung window opens fully inwards from the side, providing excellent ventilation and easy access to both sides of the glass.
Its inward opening design makes it particularly suitable for upper floors and locations where an outward opening window would be difficult to access.
Fixed VELFAC In windows do not open and are ideal where ventilation is not required but daylight and views are important.
They can be combined with opening VELFAC In windows within the same element, giving you flexibility to create larger glazed arrangements.
The bottom-hung window tilts inwards from the top, providing controlled ventilation while keeping the opening contained within the room.
It is a useful option where regular ventilation is required without fully opening the window.
The colour of your windows has a big impact on the overall appearance of your home.
VELFAC In aluminium frames are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing you to coordinate your windows with the exterior of your home and other VELFAC products.
Internal timber can also be finished to complement your interior.

VELFAC In combines the durability and low maintenance of external aluminium with the warmth and natural appearance of timber internally.
The aluminium exterior is designed to withstand changing weather conditions with minimal maintenance, while the internal pine frame brings the character of natural timber into your home.

Durable aluminium outside. Warm timber inside.
The external aluminium profiles are polyester powder coated to provide a durable finish that requires very little ongoing maintenance.
There is no need for external repainting, with routine maintenance generally limited to cleaning and occasional lubrication of moving parts.
VELFAC In uses pine for its internal frames, mullions and transoms, creating a warm natural finish inside the home.
A range of internal finishes is available, allowing the timber to complement your interior design.
Triple glazing
VELFAC In windows are manufactured with 48mm triple glazing, helping reduce heat loss and create a comfortable indoor environment.
Benefits include:
VELFAC In is designed to be specified alongside VELFAC 200, providing additional opening options where inward opening functionality is required.
This gives you the freedom to use VELFAC 200 across the majority of your project while incorporating VELFAC In in areas such as upper floors, French balconies and locations where easy cleaning from inside is particularly important.
The two systems can work together to provide a consistent, contemporary appearance throughout your home.
VELFAC In patio doors combine contemporary design with inward opening and tilt functionality.
They are particularly well suited to Juliet balconies and locations where an outward opening door is not suitable, while the tilt function allows controlled ventilation without fully opening the door.
