Product Description
VELFAC Ribo includes windows, patio doors, sliding doors and front doors in a traditional framed design. The range combines a high-quality finish, strong thermal performance and dependable security features. It is well suited to both new-build homes and replacement window projects, especially where you want to retain a more traditional appearance. VELFAC Ribo also makes it easier to replace selected windows without compromising the overall look of the property.
VELFAC Ribo is available in a wide range of opening options. Choose the styles that best suit your needs.

A top-guided window provides effective, controlled ventilation. When opened, the sash allows fresh air to enter at the top of the frame, helping to create a healthier indoor environment and making everyday ventilation simple.
A side-hung window is hinged on one side and opens fully to provide excellent ventilation. This traditional opening style works particularly well in narrower or more restricted spaces.
Fixed windows do not open and are ideal where ventilation is not required but maximising natural light is important. They can be manufactured in a wide range of sizes and work beautifully as large glazed panels or alongside other elements in the VELFAC Ribo range.
A reversible window can be rotated for easier cleaning from inside the home, making it a practical option for upper floors and harder-to-reach locations.
Side-guided windows are easy to operate and are a practical choice where space is limited. Their opening action also makes it easier to clean the outside pane from inside the home.
The colour of your windows has a big impact on the overall look of your home. VELFAC windows are available in a wide range of RAL colours, as well as selected granite and anodised finishes.

VELFAC windows, patio doors and sliding doors are made of durable materials that require a minimum of maintenance. We are careful in the selection of suppliers and in the requirements we place on the materials. These are all the cornerstones of a quality product.
Aluminium exterior for long-lasting performance
The aluminium-clad exterior is highly durable and requires very little maintenance over its lifespan, making it well suited to the UK climate.
With aluminium on the outside, there is no need for external repainting. Ongoing maintenance is limited to cleaning and occasional lubrication of moving parts.
Benefits of triple glazing
Improved thermal insulation to help reduce heat loss
A more comfortable indoor environment with fewer cold spots near the window
Reduced draughts
Lower risk of overheating in summer when specified appropriately
Double glazing
Double glazing is also available, making it suitable for applications such as holiday homes, garages, sheds and other unheated spaces.
Insulating cavities
Standard glazing units contain cavities between the panes filled with argon gas. Argon is a naturally occurring, inert gas that improves thermal insulation and helps reduce heat loss through the window..
FSC-certified® wood
Timber exterior for a more traditional appearance
The frames and mullions are made from FSC-certified® pine sourced from northern European forests. The timber is laminated and finger-jointed to improve stability and make efficient use of the raw material. At least 60% heartwood is used on fully or partially exposed external surfaces.
