Built on a vision of daylight, fresh air and quality of life, VELUX and VELFAC supply a complementary range of high-quality windows to customers across Europe.
Roof solutions from VELUX together with VELFAC facade windows can brighten up a dark space - while bringing optimal performance and fresh air into people lives.
DOVISTA A/S is 100% owned by the large fund- and family-owned holding company VKR Holding A/S, one of Denmark's largest and most recognized industrial business groups.
The VKR Group is today worldwide and consists of companies within these two business areas:
Altogether, the companies in VKR Holding employ around 19,500 people in over 40 countries.
The VKR Group was created in 1941 by engineer Villum Kann Rasmussen, a man who combined a strong creative drive with impressive attention to details. This led to the development of a number of products, all of which aimed to bring daylight, fresh air and a better environment into people's everyday lives.
The VELUX skylight, which Villum Kann Rasmussen developed in 1942, created a breakthrough for the company but Villum Kann Rasmussen also had the ambition to create a company that contributed to society. His visionary initiatives within socially responsible business operations and personnel management are still deeply rooted in the company today.
